Max Cleaner

Privacy Policy

Effective date: August 17, 2026

Max Cleaner analyzes your photos, videos, contacts, and calendar information locally on your device. We do not upload those items to our servers. Advertising, analytics, crash reporting, notifications, and purchase services may process limited device and usage information as described below.

1. Scope

This Privacy Policy explains how information is handled when you use the Max Cleaner iOS application (the “App”). By using the App, you acknowledge the practices described in this policy.

2. Photos and Videos

With your permission, the App accesses your photo library to identify items such as similar photos, screenshots, large videos, and images containing text, and to provide compression and cleanup features.

3. Contacts and Calendar Information

With your permission, the App accesses contacts to help identify incomplete contact records and accesses calendars to help identify expired events. This processing takes place on your device. Contact details and calendar entries are not uploaded to our servers. Any deletion requires an action or confirmation from you.

4. Information Processed by Online Services

The App uses third-party services for advertising, consent management, analytics, crash reporting, notifications, attribution, and purchases. Depending on your settings and applicable law, these services may process information such as:

We do not provide these services with the contents of your photos, videos, contacts, or calendar entries. Their processing is governed by their own privacy policies and your consent choices where applicable.

5. Advertising and Tracking

The free version of the App displays advertising through Google AdMob. Ads may be personalized when you provide the required consent and allow tracking through Apple’s App Tracking Transparency prompt. Personalized advertising may use information about your device and activity across apps or services to select, deliver, and measure ads. If you decline tracking or personalized advertising, you may still see contextual or non-personalized ads.

The App uses Google’s User Messaging Platform (UMP) to request, record, and manage advertising consent in regions where a consent message is required. You can change relevant privacy choices through the privacy options made available in the App or through your iOS privacy settings. You may also reset or restrict the use of the advertising identifier in iOS settings.

The App also uses Meta App Events to measure advertising events such as ad impressions, ad clicks, and advertising revenue. Processing by Google and Meta may include identifiers and usage or advertising event data, subject to your settings and applicable law.

6. Analytics, Crash Reporting, and Notifications

Firebase Analytics helps us understand which App features are used and improve the App. Firebase Crashlytics processes crash reports and technical diagnostics so that we can identify and fix reliability problems. Firebase Cloud Messaging processes a device registration token to deliver notifications and may record notification-related interactions. Notification permission is optional and can be changed at any time in iOS Settings.

7. Remote Configuration and Network Requests

The App makes limited network requests to retrieve advertising configuration, basic application configuration, and App Store version information. The servers or hosting providers involved in these requests may receive standard network information such as your IP address, request time, user agent, and technical logs. These requests do not include the contents of your photos, videos, contacts, or calendars.

8. Purchases and Subscriptions

The App offers the following purchase options:

Prices may vary by country, currency, taxes, promotions, or App Store pricing changes, and the price shown in the App Store purchase screen controls. Payments are processed by Apple. We do not receive your full payment-card details. RevenueCat is used to retrieve products, validate and manage purchases, restore purchases, and determine subscription or entitlement status. Apple and RevenueCat may process purchase and device or installation information under their respective privacy policies.

9. Permissions and Your Choices

The App may request access to:

You may decline optional permissions or revoke them at any time in iOS Settings. Some related features may not work without the relevant permission. You can purchase an ad-free option to remove advertising from the App; analytics, diagnostics, purchase management, or essential network requests may still operate.

10. Data Retention and Deletion

Analysis caches, thumbnails, cleanup records, preferences, and other App data stored locally remain on your device until removed by the App, cleared through available controls, or deleted when you uninstall the App. Information processed by third-party services is retained according to those services’ policies and legal obligations. You may contact us using the address below with privacy questions or requests. We may need enough information to understand and respond to your request, but we cannot access or delete media, contacts, calendar entries, or other information that exists only on your device.

11. Data Sharing and Sale

We do not sell the contents of your photos, videos, contacts, or calendars. Information may be disclosed to the service providers identified in this policy so they can provide advertising, analytics, crash reporting, notification, attribution, purchase, hosting, and related services. Information may also be disclosed when reasonably necessary to comply with law, enforce rights, protect users, investigate fraud or security issues, or complete a business transfer subject to appropriate safeguards.

Some privacy laws may define certain personalized advertising or cross-context behavioral advertising disclosures as “sharing” or a “sale,” even when no money is exchanged. You can limit this processing by declining tracking, choosing non-personalized advertising where offered, or adjusting privacy options.

12. International Processing

Third-party providers may process information in countries other than the country where you live. Those countries may have different data-protection laws. Providers are responsible for using appropriate legal safeguards where required.

13. Children’s Privacy

The App has an App Store age rating of 4+, but it is a general-audience utility and is not specifically directed to children. We do not knowingly request that children submit names, email addresses, or the contents of their photos, contacts, or calendars to us. Parents and guardians should supervise a child’s use of the App, permissions, advertising choices, and purchases. If you believe a child has provided personal information to an online service through the App, contact us so that we can review the request.

14. Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures designed to protect information. However, no device, network transmission, or storage system can be guaranteed to be completely secure. Keeping iOS updated and protecting access to your device also helps protect locally stored information.

15. Third-Party Privacy Policies

16. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy to reflect changes to the App, third-party services, or legal requirements. The revised policy will be posted on this page with a new effective date. Your continued use of the App after an update means that you acknowledge the revised policy.
